Funding Applications
Only recently have we been able to secure very limited funding for a small number of participants from Southeast Asia, namely from Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam as well as the Philippines.
Instructions for Participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam
Participants from the first five countries listed above who are unable to receive other institutional support to attend EuroSEAS 2019 are kindly asked to notify their panel conveners by the paper proposal deadline of 15 May 2019, accompanied by the following information:
- Whether you require financial assistance for (a) the conference fee, (b) travel costs only, (c) accommodation only, or (d) full funding.
- A short biographic note of 250 words outlining institutional affiliation, academic/professional career milestones, research areas and interests, recent publications, other extra-curricular commitments/socio-political engagements and contact details (office address, personal or institutional website, email address, phone number – no multi-page CVs).
- Proof of the non-availability of financial support from your local institution or funding authority, e.g. an official letter as a PDF scan.
Instructions for Participants from the Phillipines
Participants from the Philippines who would like to apply for funding assistance can download the application form here. Please send the form to your panel convener together with your paper proposal by the deadline of 15 May 2019.
