In the evening of Thursday, 12 September, we are pleased to host several country-based receptions. These meetups are independent from the conference venue and everyone interested is invited to join. Prior registration with the organizers may be necessary, please refer to the below descriptions for details.

Indonesia Reception

Description

We would like to invite researchers working on Indonesia to join us for an evening with dinner and informal exchange. The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia will host the reception. Registration is open again, though the remaining capacity is very limited. Myanmar Reception

Description

Scholars working on Timor-Leste are cordially invited to an informal get-together at Zollpackhof, Berlin’s historic beer garden and restaurant. Let’s meet, exchange ideas and catch up over dinner and drinks (self-paid) at this scenic location. The restaurant is a five-minute walk from the central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof) and one stop away by S-Bahn from Friedrichstraße, the metro station closest to the conference venue.
